5 Hotels With Best Petronas Towers Views in Kuala Lumpur
Want the best views of the Petronas Towers? Here are 5 hotels in Kuala Lumpur with stunning views of the Petronas Towers to make your Malaysia trip unforgettable.
In this blog, we’re exploring 5 hotels in Kuala Lumpur where the Petronas Towers aren’t just a backdrop, they’re the main event. From luxury stays to cosy apartments, each spot offers a unique perspective of KL’s most famous landmark.
We’ve added direct links to each hotel so that you have everything in one place and hopefully, make it easier for you!
SPOIL ALERT: Our favourite choice is W Kuala Lumpur 🔗. It has the best views and amenities for the best value. Check availability for my top pick here 🔗
1. Traders Hotel, Kuala Lumpur🔗 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Traders Hotel🔗 is a top pick for enjoying uninterrupted views of the Towers at a great value. All rooms have been newly refurbished, giving a premium feel. Start your day with their delicious breakfast or unwind at the Spa & Wellness facilities; there’s plenty to make your stay memorable.
Located in the heart of KLCC, the hotel offers direct access to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and is within walking distance of Suria KLCC Shopping Mall, Bukit Bintang, and other local attractions. With restaurants, bars, and cafes all around, it’s the perfect base to enjoy the city while keeping the Petronas Towers in view.
2. Star at KLCC by EAE🔗 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The apartments are modern, fully furnished, and ideal for two adults, though they can comfortably accommodate up to four, making it an even more affordable option for a small group. And the best part? The rooftop swimming pool, where the view truly speaks for itself (see image).
Many guests highlight the beautiful views of the towers and the city from the rooftop!
Located just steps from KLCC Park, Suria KLCC Mall, and the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Star at KLCC puts the city’s top attractions within easy reach while keeping the Petronas Towers front and centre. With restaurants, cafes, and nightlife all within walking distance, it’s easy to balance relaxation and city adventures.
3. Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur🔗 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Mandarin Oriental🔗, Kuala Lumpur is a luxurious urban resort located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. 5-star hotels do come with many benefits. It’s right next to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, KL Convention Centre, and prestigious Suria KLCC mall. If this is not enough, wait until you read what’s next.
The hotel’s stylish rooms, suites and executive apartments overlook the towers, the city’s magnificent skyline and KLCC Park.
The hotel’s accommodation is also complemented by several award-winning restaurants and bars, as well as state-of-the-art meeting and event facilities. Guests can also enjoy spectacular leisure and recreation facilities, including tennis courts, an award-winning spa, a kids club, and an outdoor infinity edge pool that overlooks the lush 50-acre KLCC park. Honestly, this hotel is so incredible that just writing about it makes you want to book a stay… and I wouldn’t blame you if you did, feeling like royalty for a few days is practically guaranteed.
4. Like Home Star KLCC🔗 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This property offers fully furnished apartments with kitchens and living areas, making it ideal for travellers who want a flexible, self-catered stay. Similar to Star at KLCC by EAE, in these apartments, you can fit up to 6 people, making it super convenient for a group. Let’s not forget the rooftop pool, a serene spot to enjoy the towers from above.
Located just steps from KLCC Park, Suria KLCC Mall, and the city’s main attractions. It is fair to say that all the hotels in this ultimate list are in a prime location close to the Petronas Towers, so you will realistically get the same convenience regardless of which hotel you choose.
5. W Kuala Lumpur🔗 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is our favourite choice! If you like your city stay with a side of cool factor, W Kuala Lumpur🔗 delivers. The rooms are modern, bold, and designed for travellers who want style with a prime view; the Petronas Towers peek into your window (LITERALLY!).
The rooftop pool and bar are where W really shines. Grab a cocktail, float in the pool, and snap a sunset shot with the iconic towers as your backdrop; it’s hard not to feel like you’re on top of the world.
We loved reading this review from Claudia about the hotel:
“The location, service and room was fantastic. The quality of the rooms and spacious rooms exceeded our expectations. Of course the view of the Petronas Towers at the pool is just unbeatable!”
We don’t want to influence your decision, but we would definitely stay at W Kuala Lumpur🔗. Something that we value, amongst other things, is the clarity and light in the room, and W Kuala Lumpur🔗 is unbeatable, but let’s be honest, the pool, views, breakfast, and amenities also help with this decision.
We hope you found this guide helpful and that it helps you plan an unforgettable stay in Kuala Lumpur.

10min to KLCC Cozy Suite Netlix @ Quill KL #QR261
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Why We Loved It: Very modern apartment and super cozy. The washing machine was an added bonus.
Things to Consider: Sliding doors are beautiful, but we ended up walking straight into one of them, so be careful 😂.

The Secret of Lucky Goddess
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Location: Next to Sunway Putra Mall, and about a 1 hour walk to Kuala Lumpur City Centre. See where it is on the map here.
Why We Loved It: So spacious and bright! In love with the kitchen island, which also expanded to a dining area.
Things to Consider: Keep the drains covered, otherwise you will get cockroaches (we saw a dead one when we arrived but we covered everything straight away and never saw another one).

Enlighten with A Gleam of Sunshine
🌟🌟
Location: Next to Sunway Putra Mall, and about a 1 hour walk to Kuala Lumpur City Centre. See where it is on the map here.
Why We Loved It: Very affordable.
Things to Consider: We had a lot of bad luck here, the shower head was basically falling off and there was a leak, which the host fixed within a few hours. The hob also broke, so our stay here was not pleasant and we had to move to another apartment. It faces the other buildings, so not much privacy.
